Spine Alignment - The process of identifying the strongest and weakest side of the shaft. If the weakest side of the shaft is downstream of the swing, nine o'clock, then the full release will occur. More importantly, the spine if not in the correct position will open or close the face to an unpredictable extent making on line hits impossible.
